Incredible Places: Pacific Coast Highway

I think the Pacific Coast Highway maybe my happy place. Sometimes I still do not believe that what I saw driving down the 101 in California was real.   It was just so incredibly gorgeous out there. If you ever get the chance to drive down the PCH jump on it!  We rented a convertible for the trip and at first I thought it was silly and excessive, but when I drove down that road with the wind in my hair and the ocean in front of me it was amazing.  There is just no other way to travel down the Pacific Coast Highway.
My only words of advice are: "Don't forget the sunscreen".
The Views were just so unbelievable beautiful. Where the mountains meet the Sea.
Not even a Traffic Jam could get me down.
This trip was the first time I saw the Pacific Ocean and it was just so breathtakingly blue.
Can you even believe that bridge is real?
I love this picture.  Those three boats on that beach just seem so serene.
The Pacific Coast Highway is absolutely out of this world.
California maybe my favorite place on earth.

  1. I would love to drive the Pacific Coast Highway one day - or even better, take the train so I could spend the whole trip taking photos. These snapshots are just stunning!

    1. Amanda,
You should totally make the drive next time you are in California. The drive along the coast from Washington to California seems like it would be an amazing trip to do. You are so lucky to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. So lush and green. Thank you for commenting. ~megan
