Lower East Side Street Art

The Lower East Side is filled with colorful murals, graffiti and street art. Its an amazing part of New York to explore if you like that type of art.  The aesthetics of street art are not always my exact taste but I am always intrigued by the artists choices and motivations.  Below are a few snap shots I took while walking around the neighborhood on Sunday.
Love the color choice on this.
I really wish I knew who uses AS iF as a tag.  It has to be a huge clueless fan right??

Loved the vibrant color in this one.
This was in the ally on the way to Freedman's Restaurant.
Pink, Turquoise and diamonds. Love it!
Even if I have no idea what it is.
Love these clouds.
But this Banksy on the Upper West Side is still my favorite.
In the future I hope to share more street art posts.
Cheers,
megan
