Incredible Places: Palm Springs

While my husband and I were traveling through California we had booked a hotel online only to be really disappointed when we arrived in Palm Springs.  We decided to cancel that reservation and ride around to find another hotel.  That is when we stumbled upon Korakia Pensione which was basically heaven on earth in Palm Springs, California.
I adore the description on their website:
"Crafted after a Mediterranean-style pensione, Korakia blends the silhouette of Tangier with a whisper of the Mediterranean.  Begin the day with a complimentary full-cooked breakfast in the Moroccan courtyard. Soothe your soul poolside, seek healing through yoga or pamper yourself with our spa offerings. Curl up with a vintage book from the library lounge. Join a game of bocce ball or explore downtown Palm Springs on one of our complimentary bicycles. Relax and refresh with the Moroccan tea service each afternoon."
I am dreaming of that Moroccan Tea as we speak.

Korakia's entry way is just stunning.

The view from our room.

Where delicious breakfasts were enjoyed.
I loved all the amazing little details.
I had never drank infused waters before Palm Springs but I was in love with their orange and mint water.
Korakia may have started my Paint by Number obsessed.
Gorgeously crafted wood details everywhere.
This spot was where yoga was held in the mornings. At night it is used to show classic films.
We watched Casablanca under the stairs.
At night the fire pits were lit and it was so nice to sit around them with a glass of wine.

Writing this post makes we want to go back this year even more.
Hopefully I will get to see Palm Springs again soon!
Where are your favorite vacation spots?

  1. Wow Palm Springs looks amazing! A favourite vacation spot of mine is Queenstown in the South Island of New Zealand, although it’s pretty far from New York!
